Measuring Tool

The ruler and stickers are used so we can measure any changes in your child's mouth and bite. We will be keeping all measurement photos stored on our health portal, so we can keep track of how growth and development are coming along.

Step 1: When your dashboard prompts you to take a measurement, you will want to grab your cheek retractor before you begin.

Step 2: Once cheek retractor is in place, have your child bite down softly on the ruler. You’ll need to center the middle line in-between their 2 front teeth. There are 2 sizes on the card so you’ll want to determine which side will be best for us to get a good measurement.

Step 3:
Dry only one of their upper front teeth and apply the dot sticker. Be sure that the flash on your camera is turned on. Get up close and try to focus mainly on the outer area of their mouth.

**For this activity, the dot sticker is not necessary for kiddos that are age 6 and younger.
